short explanation about the song

both these written pieces influenced my idea of the music video. the narrative is the Zetas playing poker against death. death shall be using tarot cards against the zetas average deck of card. this is essentially good triumphing over evil. the zetas win the card game which causes death to drop to the floor. the email i recieve from the lead singer has also got me thinking about the album cover i have to create. i would like to create a 'trainspotting-esk' ablum cover with a monlogue type speech on the front cover.

I think I would like to use a woman in the video as it would make the poker scene make more sense as you need a dealer. this will also bring in the connotation of women in music video as of which i shall be objectifying the female so i can employ the theory from Laura Mulvey.

Costume designs

It is unclear if i shall be using a female in my film at the moment as i am not able to use the female i originally wanted. i think i may find a replacement though she is not a key character.

i wanted the band to be dressed quite formally but still with a young edge with the addition of skinny ties. i am dressing them formally because they are a young band and i want them to be viewed as an older band than they are through their maturity.

i stuck to quite a stereotypical dress for Death so he would be easily recognizable.
